Well as one of the UniMod devs (by the way UniMod is open source:
https://github.com/Evengard/UniMod - and the binary provided is not the last one, even though I never released the last one even while it contains SDL patch integrated - and WITH cutscene support) - Waypoint is just used... Just because the original dev found out how to easily patch it to support the Lua scripts in the map editor (without actually breaking anything else).
