You can not open the map with the map editor, but there is no problem playing the map.
The map protector only makes it impossible for someone to modify the map.

That's not good idea at all. Why would you do something like that?
It's very ugly!
We are open-source community, which makes things (like Map Editor) keep developing and improving.
Locking anything is just against this policy and it downgrades all the mighty progress.

oh sorry.... = (
I did not know such things.

Are you sure that the unofficial patch is no longer updated?

Can not nox scripts handle console commands?

Handling console commands through scripts is already possible through unimod code.

Waypoint(">conExec('set spell SPELL_WALL off')");

However, since unimod does not currently contain unofficial patches, the main features of unofficial patches are not available in unimod.
I was not able to use unimod because of this problem.
I am confident that if someone integrates unimod and unofficial patches, the limitations of the nox editor will be gone.

true, and it would be no problem at all to integrate the patched exe into umimod, at least for the developers of unimod, unfortunately this all thing is completly dead and no one cares, so...
Maybe you can try to give them money. But they would say they have no time anyway, so it would have to be lots of money. Like 1000 USD maybe.
You can also try it yourself. The source code of Unimod must be somewhere around for sure. But then you would lose SDL patch because unimod has his own version of SDL and i am not sure if it is as good and stable as good old SDL we all know. Zoa is Zoa.

It seems to be hopeless.

You know there are no many active people around NoX anymore. Most of them who used to be are on different planet now so the ping would be terrible. Some of them are still here but they feel ashamed of being part of something what is dead so they rather force themself to be like others who are no active. They don't wanna look like they have no life. This is actually the biggest insult of nowadays, when someone says: "You have no life". Because if I go and get drunk every day and heroin addicted and rape others on street all of this is still more cool and more acceptable than being a nerd who takes some old dying game as his hobby. Remember, your hobby must be cool. Society is watching you!!!

And then there are those who actually like nox too much and it became kind of highly addictive drug and got scared of this and decided to be no part of it because being addicted of something what is not plentiful is a very dangerous (you can even die!). That's actually very reasonable. Everyone should do that.

You can also try to just wait. Maybe someone appears and makes the Unimod thing for you.

I actually prefer making nox maps rather than nox.
Even making nox maps takes up most of my life.
So much for me to create a nox map.
As a result, production technology is evolving day by day.
But it is hard to develop anymore.
Because of the limit of nox.
In order to overcome these limitations, I have suggested the unimod.
