Windows 8 problems

Some Players, who are trying to play NoX through Windows 8, may have encountered some problems.

As far as I know, I tried to fight Nox with color-setupping, but even though Win8 lets you to change the color to 16bit, it still doesn't work.
Why? That is a good question.

But! Don't you fall into despair just yet!
I have heard rumors about a fix, but I don't know much about it.

To my knowledge, the SDL patch may help with the issue. Also -window parameter could.
